Research Interests:
The focus of my research deals with science assessments and science teacher evaluations including “value added” measures of teacher effectiveness. I am interested in comparing teachers from Long Island School districts and to test the predictive power, individually and collectively, of students insights, using surveys, and value added data to predict a teacher’s influence on students in another class/section and/or academic year for the sciences.
