Michele Witkowski, a Stony Brook University MAT Biology graduate student, receives an AFCEA STEM scholarship
Faculty members of the Center for Science and Mathematics Education (CESAME) at Stony Brook University present Ms. Michele Witkowski with a scholarship check for $5000. Michele was awarded the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) scholarship from the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Educational Foundation. Michele is a Stony Brook University graduate student in the MAT Biology program, and she has been working for CESAME for the past year. The scholarship will help pay for Michele's graduate school tuition and will also provide funds for classroom supplies when Michele becomes a science teacher. Congratulations Michele!
