Dr. Andersen is faculty in the Department of Biochemistry & Cell Biology. She is the Course Director for two upper division biology courses: “Techniques in Molecular and Cellular Biology” and “Molecular Immunology”.  She also participates regularly in teaching for the MAT and BTC programs. She has extensive experience in biological research on the regulation of gene expression.  Dr. Andersen is a member of Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Society and the National Association of Biology Teachers.
