How do I open a new Tank Gas Account?
Fill out a Material & Service Requisition with the data section reading that you are opening a new Tank Gas account. If you are using state money, send to the Tank Gas Program, Z=5201. If you're using research funds, send your completed form to Grants Management for approval first and they will forward it to us.
After your completed form is received by the Tank Gas Program, you will be notified with your new ID number and you will be ready to begin to order.
How do I add funds to my tank gas account?
A Material & Service Requisition should be filled out noting your gas ID #. In the data section, clarify that you are adding funds to your Tank Gas Account. If you are using state money, send to the Tank Gas Program, Z=5201. If you're using research funds, send your completed form to Grants Management for approval first and they will forward it to us.
What gasses are on contract and what are the current prices?

How does demurrage work?
Demurrage is similar to rental charges but your first month is free. Any tank you receive during a given month has no demurrage charge associated with it unless you keep it as of the last day of the next month and there on. Actual monthly charges can be found on the price list.
How do I order a gas that's not on contract?
Call us and be as specific as possible about the size and purity of what you want. We will get the information from our current vendor and get back to you ASAP with a price quote and estimated delivery time frame.
What are the safety requirements for using, storing, and disposing of tank gas?
