All monies deposited on the card for the Meal Plan and Wolfie Wallet are retrievable and will reside on the replacement card

Your Campus Card is important to your day to day activities at Stony Brook University. The card may also be of monetary value to you. It is important to take care of it properly. To prevent damage, DO NOT:

  • Mark or bend the card
  • Punch holes in the card
  • Scratch the magnetic stripe on the card

NOTE: Should the card holder request a replacement card based on the above type of damage or other similar card holder activity which destroys the card, the card holder will be charged the full replacement fee for the new Campus Card.

Library

The sixteen-digit number on the front of the Campus Card is your library patron number. Problems/questions?

Access

Resident students are given a card that contains a prox wire embedded within the card. This card will permit students to have access to their residence facility.

Wolfie Wallet

When you arrive on campus one of the most important items you'll receive is your campus ID card. Wolfie Wallet is a campus administered prepaid declining balance debit account encoded on your campus ID. It is a safe and convenient way for students, faculty and staff to make food purchases from off campus merchants, make purchases from vending machines, mail packages in the residential mailroom, purchase tickets through the USG ticket office, and shop at campus dining and retail locations. Wolfie Wallet is not part of the meal plan.

If you have money left over in your Wolfie Wallet account at the end of the semester, you won't lose it! Wolfie Wallet rolls over from semester to semester. The money will remain in your account until you spend it or graduate or withdraw from the University.
