The Center advises sophomores, juniors, and seniors in the College of Arts & Sciences, College of Business, School of Journalism, and School of Marine & Atmospheric Sciences, as well as students interested in pursuing graduates studies in the health and law professions. - Sept. 6: First Day of Saturday Classes. This includes Stony Brook West Campus, SUNY Learning Net courses offered through SBU, and Manhattan Campus.
- Sept. 8: Last day students can place themselves on a waitlisted course. Reminder: Students, who place themselves on a waitlist and change their intent to register, MUST DROP themselves from the Waitlist. If students are registered from the waitlist, students are responsible for any Tuition Liability incurred.
- Sept. 8: Last day to drop a class or withdraw from the university without tuition liability. Service offices are closed on weekends. Dropping individual courses must be done via Solar System; students withdrawing from the university or taking a leave of absence must submit a Withdrawal/LOA Request Form to the Registrar’s Office (form may be faxed or mailed). Withdrawals/LOA’s will be processed based on date fax received or based on the postmarked date. Date must be PRIOR to the 9/08/08 deadline to avoid tuition liability.
